Privacy policy
This is a small site and not a machine for harvesting people. I collect as little as possible, use it only for the reasons named here, and I don’t sell it.
Information you choose to give me
If you use the contact form, you may give:
- your name
- your email address
- whatever you write in the note box
That information is used so I can read what you wrote, reply if a reply is owed, and, if you ask for it, let you know when the latest book is out in the world.
The messages are delivered to my email address and stored there like any other correspondence. I may keep them as long as they are needed for the conversation or the record.
Automatic technical information
Like most sites, this one may collect some basic technical details automatically, such as:
- your IP address
- the type of browser and device you use
- which pages you visit and for how long
This is handled by the systems that host and run the site and by any simple traffic or spam-prevention tools in use. It is used to keep the site working, to guard against abuse, and to see, in a general way, whether anyone is visiting. I do not use this information to try to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
The site may use small text files called cookies to remember simple preferences and to keep things working as you move between pages. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block them entirely, some parts of the site may not work as expected, but most of the pages should still load fine.
Sharing of information
I do not sell or rent your personal information.
Your information may be seen by:
- the companies that host this site and deliver its email
- service providers that keep the forms and basic traffic measurements working
Those services have their own privacy terms. I do not authorize them to use your information for their own marketing.

You do not have to send any information to read this site.
If you have contacted me and later want to know what personal information I hold about you, or want me to delete a message, you can write and ask. If I can locate it in a reasonable manner and am not required to keep it for legal or security reasons, I will remove it.
Changes
If this privacy page changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
